Why Your Vote Rocks
Think of the 2025 Czech parliamentary elections as your chance to shape the next four years—who leads the government, how public services run, and where our country stands on the world stage. Every ballot cast helps decide the future of healthcare, education, the economy, and more.

What You’re Voting For
200 seats in the Chamber of Deputies (the lower house).
The party or coalition that wins a majority here gets to form the next government and pick the Prime Minister.
Who Gets To Vote
All Czech citizens aged 18+, including you—newly naturalized!
Living abroad? Good news: you can vote by mail. Just register on the Special Voters List at your nearest embassy or consulate at least 40 days before the vote.
Quick check: confirm your name is on the electoral roll at your local municipal office.
How It Works
Your vote helps decide both the party and the candidates.
Proportional representation with a threshold: seats get distributed in line with the share of the votes of each party; parties with less than 5% of the vote don’t get any seats.
Preference votes: pick up to four candidates within your chosen party list.
Feel like making your voice heard twice? Preference votes are your power tool!
Vote Wherever You Are
Got work, travel plans, or just want freedom of choice? Apply for a voting card (voličský průkaz) at your municipal office by Thursday, October 1 (16:00). With that card, you can walk into any polling station in the country and cast your vote.
